E-government is a familiar concept in countries with developed economies. However, up to now, there has not been a unified concept that satisfies all subjects.
E-Government is a general term for web-based services from ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, and local governments. In e-Government, governments use information technology and especially the Internet to support government operations, engage citizens, and deliver government services. Interaction can take the form of citizens accessing information, accessing records, or making payments, among other activities via the world-wide-web.
